Night Works near UNSW: February and March 2017

Details of works activities 


Anzac Parade, between Todman Avenue and High Street: 8pm to 5am from Sun 29 Jan to Tues 28 Feb 2017 and 8am to 5pm on Sundays

Activities include civil work (excavation, track slab construction, kerb widening), drainage work, geotechnical investigations (potholing and surveying), vegetation work (tree trimming, mulching and possible tree or shrub removal), utility relocations, track work (rail preparation work, concrete pouring, rail delivery, rail/track installation, surveying, welding, saw cutting and surface finishing), heritage work, road pavement work, traffic control, traffic signals and signage (approximately 20 nights).

You may experience some noise and vibration during this work. High noise activities such as saw cutting and jackhammering will not take place for more than two consecutive nights (weather and traffic permitting). Respite periods will be in place to mitigate impacts to residents during noisy activity.

Works will involve some lane closures under traffic management, however motorists will still be able to travel in both directions along Anzac Pde.
