CBD and South East Light Rail

As UNSW has grown, so has our need for a public transport system that can meet our growing requirements. A high-capacity mass transport solution is vital to alleviate current transport issues, improve accessibility and make sure UNSW can continue to attract students and staff of the highest potential, irrespective of background and location. 

The CBD and South East Light Rail will provide sustainable and reliable modern transport from the CBD to Sydney's South East that will meet the needs of our community. Construction is now under way, with the Light Rail expected to commence operations in 2019.

The information session on Thuesday 6 December 2018 is for Moore Park, Randwick, Kensington and Kingsford local residents and businesses to find out more about the light rail project.
