Anzac Parade: Overnight footpath closures in March

What is happening?

A pedestrian detour will be in place along sections of the western footpath on Anzac Parade from 9pm to 5am through March. Pedestrians will be directed to use the footpath on the eastern side of Anzac Parade. 

The work will be undertaken in 2 stages.

Stage 1: Between High Street and University Mall Pedestrian crossing

Dates: Sunday 12 March to Thursday 16 March, between 9pm-5am. There will be two traffic controllers situated at High Street and two traffic controllers situated at University Mall to assist pedestrians around the works.

Stage 2: Between University Mall Pedestrian crossing and Barker Street

Dates: Sunday 19 March – Thursday 23 March, between 9pm-5am. There will be two traffic controllers situated at University Mall and two traffic controllers situated at Barker Street, to assist pedestrians around the works.

Local property access

The work will take place in a segmented fashion across the work zones in both stages. If access is required for any property, works can cease to allow access. The footpath will be re-opened after each night shift.
