Light Rail Construction Update: Tree removal works in Randwick and Moore Park

Holiday road closures coming, as light rail work ramps up in South East

Significant light rail work will occur in Moore Park and Randwick over the Christmas/New Year period, including utility investigations and tree removal, as the countdown continues to major construction in the south east.

UNSW welcomes the announcement by NSW Minister for Transport and Infrastructure Andrew Constance that the University’s preferred design for the UNSW High Street stop will be pursued.

Transport for NSW has released details of new arrangements for buses in the CBD to accommodate the construction of the CBD and South East Light Rail.

ALTRAC Light Rail, the consortium appointed to design, build, operate and maintain the new light rail, will be carrying out surveys, geotechnical investigations and potholing works between Friday 17 July and Thursday 17 September.
