Tram testing is continuing

Tram testing and commissioning will continue from Wednesday 1 August to Saturday 1 September within the Randwick Stabling Yard and along track son Anzac Parade and Alison Road. 

This marks an exciting milestone for the project. It is important that everyone remains safe during this testing period and are aware of new safe work zones (hazard zones). 

Tram testing times

  • Testing may be conducted Mondays to Sundays betweeen 6pm and 5am. 
  • Work falls outside the standard working hours 

How will this affect me?

  • Temporary lane closures along Alison Road and pedestrian detours will be in place during these activities.
  • All lights have now been energised at the Randwick Stabling Yard
  • All lights will be tested using timers, operating from dusk until dawn.
  • You may experience some noise and vibration during this work.
